Brush! Brush! Land: A Fluffy Routine for Doodle Coats

Goldendoodles are famous for their soft, fluffy coats that can turn heads wherever they go. But maintaining that iconic look takes some effort and the right tools. Whether your doodle has tight curls, loose waves, or something in between, regular grooming is essential to keep their coat healthy and tangle-free. Here are some expert tips to help you stay on top of your Goldendoodle’s grooming routine.

1. Brush Regularly (And We Mean Regularly)

Goldendoodle coats are prone to tangles and mats, which can be uncomfortable for your pup and difficult to remove. Brushing at least three times a week (daily is even better!) helps prevent mats from forming and keeps their coat looking smooth.

Tip: Use a slicker brush designed specifically for Goldendoodles, like the soft rubber painter slicker brush available in our store. It’s gentle on their sensitive skin but effective at detangling even the toughest knots.
